Back from a trip trough Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia (Cap breton) here a souvenir of our fabulous fall landscapes. The shawl is felted with textures using various techniques, and tons of free motion stitched feathers. I dye my own fibres, and felt everything from scratch (no prefelt material used here in my studio). Collar crocheted with my hand spun yarn, spun especially for this shawl. Mostly merino with silk, some art yarns and lots or curly wool locks. 80 X 25pin included. This is 2 full days of labour.
