This unique woven shawl is entirely made of hand spun art yarns especially created for this project. It started with the inspirational sight of a glowing giant moon on my way back to my studio. It is see trough a little bit and the weave is quite steady. I took a lot of care into creating a very special fringe, and added a crocheted border which is making it outstanding. It is mainly merino, with tencel and firestar. It is soft and warm. It weight 1.6 pound. 90 wide X 36 in the middle back. A safety pin is provided to hold the shawl in many ways as pictured. Model is 51.
