The shawl measure 80 long and 30at his widest part. The shawl took My entire table space to layout , which is 4 X 8 . As felt shrink the initial design is significantly larger. This piece has a more intricate and complex design than any other felt pieces I made. It took hours to make the design, and more hours to felt it. I designed the art yarn especially for this shawl, added leaves and wool locks. There is hours just for doing the leaves and yarn appliqus. This is not something I plan to do often as it is so, so much work.
This shawl is made of merino and silk.
