You have been so many to ask I do more fairy hoods! Heres my freshly felted fairy hood featuring needle felted hand spun yarn, flowers and autumn leaves. This hat doesnt have ties since it wouldnt wear well hanging at the back. It weighs about 275 grams and feel pretty steady on a head though. 100% warm real wool!
I do not use pre felt material, this hat has been entirely made from wool fleece I dyed, spun, wet felted and needle felted. No sewing.
I suggest to store this hat on a stand to keep his shape.
